The dress below was again another freelance project for a student at Brighton University that I completed a couple of weeks ago. I again worked from a few sketches and images to develop the pattern and eventually constructed the final garment.
The shape of this dress is one of my favourites, it is so elegant, clean cut and simple and shows off the weave to its full extent. The Jacqaurd fabric designed by Holly Howe is made of cotton and silk woven at a mill in Suffolk called Vanners.
