London Fashion Week is upon us and the designer I have been working for the last 5 months successfully showed on Friday through Fashion Scout. This was Ong-Oaj Pairam’s third season and I have been lucky enough to be involved with it right from the beginning.
Pairam took his inspiration for the collection from two of his favourite childhood Disney characters Cruella De Ville and Ursula. This inspiration developed throughout the design process to include signs of dangerous animals and poisonous plants which are hidden within the prints.
Here are some behind the scenes images I have taken, from design and pattern development to backstage at the show.
These are just a few of my favourite looks from the collection. I love the mix of prints and clever use of colour throughout the collection, from strong silhouettes at the beginning to perfectly cut evening dresses at the end that could grace any red carpet. A very talented designer!
