Over the last few weeks the weather has given us a tiny glimpse of summer and brightened moods as we ponder the festivals that don’t seem so far away now. So far I have only bought tickets for one festival which is Wildlife in Shoreham by Sea but I am aiming to go to lots more this year as one of my New Years Resolutions was to generally just ‘Do More’. So this gets me thinking of the oh so important outfits I need to get together to do festivals in comfort and style.
As we can always depend on the not so dependable British weather I think this see through glitter mac from Topshop is perfect for those unexpected showers and it is generally just really cool teamed up with wellies and shorts underneath.
Every festival wardrobe needs one amazing print and a staple cami top. Both of these below are great! I love the Topshop cami’s, they fit really well and aren’t going to break the bank, the price is similar to River Island and Zara but I really like the V-neck shape as its far more flattering for a bigger bust than a scoop or high neck top.
Practical bags are also a must have. The bigger the better for a camping festival in my opinion (where else are you going to keep your dry shampoo and lippy) and a rucksack is so much easier to carry around while dancing than a handbag. This Totepack from Fjallraven is perfect! It’s multi-functional as it can be carried as a tote bag, over the shoulder or as a backpack (my kinda bag!) which makes it great for the many occasions that festivals throw at you. It appeals to both guys and gals with the many colour options, is heavy duty so is a great long term buy.
